Smoked Beef Burgers
There is no argument about it. Grilled burgers are delicious. But have you ever tucked into a smoked beef burger?
assorted burger toppings such as bacon, tomato, lettuce and your favourite condiments
Instructions
Preheat your smoker to 135 °C.
Combine ground beef with a generous handful of Big Dog Spices Loaded Burger flavour seasoning in a large mixing bowl. Form 4 equal-sized burger patties.
Place your burgers on the grill and smoke for 45-60 mins, or until the internal temperature reaches 55 °C.
Increase the grill temperature to 200 °C and sear both sides of the patties (add the cheese after the first flip) for three minutes, or until the burgers reach an internal temperature of 75 °C.
Remove burger patties and allow them to rest while you toast the buns.
I love cooking BBQ dishes that feed the whole family. Some of my favourites include burgers, pulled pork, chicken wings and ribeye. I like to experiment with different cuts of meat, varying levels of smokiness, and delicious home-made sauces.
